We were pleased to recognize Mr. David Byrd, formerly of Polk County Public Schools and Warner University with the Polk County Farm Bureau Distinguished Service Award for his more than 40 years of service to Polk agriculture education. Congratulations, Mr. Byrd!
We also presented the Ag Teacher and Ag Program of Year Awards with Lexi Sanchez of Bartow High School as Ag Teacher of the Year, and Westwood Middle School as Ag Program of the Year.
During the business portion of our Annual Meeting, the following board members were re-elected to additional three-year terms:
