Almost 5,000 Polk County fourth-grade students and their teachers visited Polk County Agri-Fest recently over the 10-day event enjoying interactive lessons at the Beef Cattle, Citrus, Small Farms, Phosphate, Horticulture, and Forestry stations. The event is a 35-year running partnership between Polk County Farm Bureau, Polk County Public Schools, and Polk County UF/IFAS Extension Services.
