After many meetings with District Schools, the Youth Fair Board and the County Health Department the Fair can go on with changes.
The main concern from the Health Department is the large crowds and people following safety precautions. To this end we have partnered with PGTV and they will be live-streaming all of our shows this year. We will be limiting, through the use of wristbands and temperature checks, the number of spectators at each event so we ask that you watch from home instead of attending in person. All of the participants and spectators will have to wear masks and have temperature checks done prior to entering and the arena and show areas will be cleared and disinfected between show sessions. Masks need to be worn on-premises.
The following events will be taking place with safety precautions set by committees in place. Check website or contact Committee Chairs for specifics.
Horse Show, Market Hog Show, Commercial Heifer Show, Beef Show, Steer Show, Goat Show, Horticulture Show, Plant and Market Animal Sales, Archery Whip Popping,and Family and Consumer Science will accept entries from all categories EXCEPT Foods (Class #s F01-F32 and F35-F38) ALL FCS entries will check-in at the Fairgrounds on January 19th see website for times.
There will NOT be a concession stand available on site this year so please plan accordingly.
If you are not feeling well DO NOT ATTEND! Exhibitors can make arrangements with committees to get your animal or plant shown/sold.
The sales will be a combination of Live Auction and Online but at this time the Online information is not available, see the PCYF.net website for those details.
We realize that this is not going to be a normal fair year but we have all worked hard to make it as good as we could for the Agricultural Youth of our county.
