Members of the Highlands County Farm Bureau visited Tallahassee on March 18 for 2025 Farm Bureau Day, where they had the opportunity to meet lawmakers to discuss topics affecting the industry. Some of those topics included housing for legally verified ag workers, Farm Bill funding for natural disaster recovery loan programs, and appropriation of funds for UF/IFAS, 4-H, FFA, ag certification programs and ag education.
