Advanced Citriculture Course Set for Aug. 22-Dec. 4

This course will be available this fall to non-degree-seeking students. Advanced Citriculture will take a deep dive of the biology of citrus, but always with production in mind. Thus, anyone interested in citrus production will be equipped with an understanding of what is happening beneath the production responses. The course is intense, intended to give participants an excellent understanding of how citrus trees work and how horticultural practices can best address plant health and productivity. Thus, participants will be equipped to better manage living citrus plants in the field. Details:

  • Topics taught by experts include environmental physiology, mineral nutrition, crop load management, development, genetics, and citrus Huanglongbing.
  • As a 100% online offered in the fall semester, you can work on the class according to your schedule.
  • Course available to both degree and non-degree seeking students.

The 15-week course that will consist of lectures that can be viewed asynchronously. Topical discussions among students will be online based on weekly reading and lecture assignments. Cost is $1,725.
