Getting the Most Health Care with the Least Worry

Last edition, Dr. Kimber Vasquez, one of our general practice physicians here at Central Florida Health Care, Inc., talked about our roots in agriculture. Since the 1972 founding of the first practice location in Frostproof, we have come a long way in helping provide affordable healthcare services for farmworkers and all of the local community (including residents, migrant workers, the underinsured and the uninsured).

Today, we have 12 convenient locations and a growing, diverse medical care team and staff. Central Florida Health Care, Inc. employs over 400 full-time and contract employees. This allows us to offer many much-needed health care services to the community. For your convenience, I’ve highlighted some of our locations and what services are included:

  • For Highlands County residents, our Avon Park location is conveniently located at 950 C.R. 17A West. From this location, adults and children can receive primary medical care, dental care and have the convenience of a pharmacy all in one place. Make sure to ask about FREE vaccinations for children ages 18 and under.
  • For our neighbors in Hardee County, our two convenient Wauchula locations are at 204 E. Palmetto Street and 121 KD Revell Road. The Palmetto location offers adult primary medical care and dental care services. Want the convenience of a full-service in-house laboratory too? We have it. The Revell Road location offers a full slate of services for pediatric and OB/GYN care, plus adult and children’s dental care. For a full list of services, please see our website at cfhconline.org.
  • For our Polk County residents, we have several convenient locations in Lakeland, Winter Haven, Mulberry, Dundee, Frostproof, Haines City, and Lake Wales. We will also soon be opening a location on campus at Crystal Lake Elementary School in Lakeland to serve both students and the community. With the convenience of a short drive, same-day sick visits and trustworthy, affordable health care, there’s no excuse to delay.

If you or your loved ones are in need of medical care, call us at (866) 234-8534. We will help you find the most convenient location for the health care services you need, and you can rest easy knowing you are taken care of.
