The best way to be two places at once

In the hustle and bustle of life, we often find ourselves being double-booked for two important engagements. In these cases, it might be necessary to sacrifice one obligation for another. Take this scenario for example: You’ve been searching for the perfect home for almost a year, and you’re excited because you think you may have found it. It’s the right size, location, is in great condition, plus it has all the character and charm you hoped for. The only problem is, this particular home is set to be auctioned on the same morning as your sister’s wedding, for which you are a member of the wedding party. Now, here’s a predicament.

The good news, however, when it comes to an auction, is that you can opt for what is called an absentee bid. As a potential buyer, an absentee bid allows you to partake in the bidding process at the auction, although you are not actually present. As a general rule, the bidder can submit his or her offer prior to the event, but there are guidelines to be followed on how the absentee bid can be carried out on the bidder’s behalf at the auction event.

So, you see, there is a way for you to be in two places at once! If you have any questions about how an absentee bid can be carried out on your behalf, don’t hesitate to contact me.
